NEW YORK, June 26, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Quinpario Acquisition Corp. 2 (Nasdaq:QPAC) (Nasdaq:QPACW) (Nasdaq:QPACU) (“Quinpario”), a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company, announced today that its special meeting of stockholders to approve its previously announced business combination with SourceHOV, LLC and Novitex Holdings, Inc. has been scheduled for July 11, 2017. Quinpario filed its definitive proxy statement with the SEC today and stockholders of record as of the close of business on May 31, 2017 will be entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the special meeting and any adjournments or postponements thereof. The full special meeting agenda is included in Quinpario’s definitive proxy statement, which will be mailed on or about June 26, 2017 to stockholders of record as of May 31, 2017.
As disclosed in the proxy statement, Quinpario’s common stock, par value $0.0001 per share, units and warrants are currently listed on Nasdaq under the symbols “QPAC,” “QPACU” and “QPACW,” Quinpario has applied to continue the listing of its common stock on Nasdaq under the symbol “XELA” upon the closing of the Business Combination. Following the closing, Quinpario expects that its warrants will trade on Nasdaq under the symbol “XELAW”; its units may continue to trade on Nasdaq under the symbol “XELAU” or may be separated into the component securities and no longer trade as a separate security. Upon consummation of the Business Combination, Quinpario will be renamed “Exela Technologies, Inc.”
The annual meeting of Quinpario is different than the special meeting. The annual meeting will be held on June 29, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. The record date for the annual meeting is May 31, 2017.
